Armands began fishing at the Mangalsala pier in Riga and has spent more than thirteen years since learning the pike, zander and perch of the Daugava River, Lake Ķīšezers and Latvia's other lakes.
He runs a Volzhanka 46 fitted with a 50hp Tohatsu engine, rods, reels, lures and life jackets — and finds fish with a Garmin Panoptix LiveScope, seeing what's beneath the boat instead of guessing.
Complete beginners are always welcome. You don't need previous fishing experience or your own equipment — Armands will show you how to cast, read the water and handle a catch safely.

“Armands was an excellent fishing host and knew exactly where to find the fish. The equipment was ready, the boat was comfortable, and the whole trip was relaxed and enjoyable. I even caught my first zander!”

“The Livescope Panoptix tech made finding fish so easy—best fishing trip ever!”
